Make Up | My essentials: Summer 2012

Buongiorno miei cari!
Non so da voi, ma qui a Torino l’estate si fa sentire parecchio, quindi quando si tratta di truccarsi per uscire è davvero difficile scegliere dei prodotti che non moltiplichino la nostra sudorazione ma che ci aiutino comunque ad avere una certa presenza. Voglio quindi presentarvi quelli che sto utilizzando io!

I do not know about where you live, but here in Turin the summer can be felt a lot, so when it comes having you makeup done for going out is really difficult to choose products that do not multiply our sweat, but still help us to have a certain presence. So I want to introduce those that I’m using!

Per gli occhi (a seconda delle giornate e delle temperature)  opto generalmente per ombretti nei colori della terra e dell’oro che illuminino lo sguardo (la mia palette 32 colori H&M è perfetta per ogni combinazione, dalle più semplici agli smokey eyes più intensi).

For the eyes (depending on the day and temperatures) generally I choose eyeshadow in earth and gold tones that illuminate the eye (my 32 color palette by H&M is perfect for any combination, from the simplest to the most intense smokey eyes) .

Se invece l’afa è esagerata opto per matita-eyeliner long lasting e molto mascara (i miei colori preferiti in questa stagione sono il nero e il verde brillante). Da sinistra a destra: mascara I love extreme di Essence, Matita Occhi n°107 di Kiko, Eyeliner long lasting n°7 di Bell e matita automatica long lasting n°12 I have a green di Essence (gli swatches sono alla fine del post!).

But if the heat is exaggerated I choose  eyeliners, long lasting pencils and mascaras (my favorite colors for this season are black and bright green). From left to right: I love extreme mascara by Essence, Eye Pencil No. 107 by Kiko, long lasting Eyeliner No. 7 by Bell and long-lasting authomatic pencil No. 12 I have a green by Essence (swatches are at the end of post !).

Quando ho bisogno di intensificare lo sguardo per le serate più glam, indosso asciutto o bagnato a seconda dei casi, questo ombretto cotto della Project Professional color bronzo (n°21 golden bronze).

When I need to intensify the look for the most glamorous evenings, I use wet or dry depending on the circumstances, this bronze baked eyeshadow by Project Professional  (golden bronze No. 21).

Ed inoltre non manca mai la mia fidata matita kajal bianca per l’interno dell’occhio che mi aiuta a sembrare meno stanca/assonnata, ma soprattutto a far sembrare i miei occhi più grandi. Questa è la n° 04 white di Essence.

It also never fails my trusty white kohl pencil for the waterline that helps me look less tired / sleepy, but especially it makes my eyes look bigger. This is the No. 04 white by Essence.

Per quel che riguarda la base, devo dire che molto dipende dalla temperatura. Generalmente preferisco utilizzare esclusivamente una crema con protezione solare da mettere sul viso e concentrar l’attenzione sugli occhi (anche grazie alla base I love stage di Essence che mantiene il trucco in ordine tutto il giorno), ma se ho necessità di essere un po’ più “perfetta” (es. quando sono andata al matrimonio qualche sabato fa) allora opto per una base/fondotinta trasparente con azione di omogeneizzazione dell’incarnato e spf medio (io uso la Avon Magix) e per un correttore per eventuali imperfezioni insistenti: il mio è lo stay natural concealer n°3 soft nude di Essence di cui sono soddisfattissima!

As for the base, I must say that much depends on the temperature. Generally I prefer to only use a moisturizing cream with sunscreen to put on my face and concentrate the attention on the eyes (thanks to the eyeshadow base I love stage by Essence  that keeps the makeup in order all day long), but if I need to be a bit more “perfect” (ie when I went to the wedding some Saturdas ago) then I opt for a clear  base / foundation with complexion homogenization action and medium spf (I use the Avon Magix one) and for what concerns the concealer to any imperfections insistent: mine is the stay natural concealer No. 3 soft nude by Essence which I  am very proud of!
